The idea for AR began when Johnny was talking with a colleague who mentioned he had a friend who made websites for high school athletes.

After doing some research, Johnny found the offerings to professional athletes plentiful, but a serious lack of affordable and professional-looking options for websites for not-yet professional athletes. Thus, Athletes Rise was born.

Johnny brought his findings to Arsames and they began planning how to get the platform to the athletes who need it most.

Arsames, a board member for the Boys and Girls Club of America, and Johnny wanted to do something with their site to give back to the community. They spoke with Jerrell Pippens, a former NFL cornerback, and decided to build a website for underprivileged kids for every 10 paid sites.

That’s where we are. We’re trying to spread the word. Will you help us? We’ll give you $100 for everyone you refer who buys a site. And when we get 10 paid sites, we’ll help a kid by giving her a website she can use to reach the next level of her sport.
